Philip Johnson coordinates online media for the project, including the website, blog, and social media channels. He was drawn to the project out of an interest in examining the similarities between GTMO and offshore detention facilities maintained by his home country of Australia. He holds an MA from New York University and a BA from the University of Sydney.
